Preliminary work for measurement 5
(Power electronics, electric motor, E-box and related wire harnesses)
Remove cover for center underbody at the left.
Refer to the appropriate service information.
Remove protective plate on power electronics.
> 279119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING POWER ELECTRONICS FOR HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM - on "Removing"
Release and disconnect high-voltage line (power electronics - electric A/C compressor) at the power electronics.
Power electronics
Connect high-voltage test adapter > VAS 6558/9-6 - High-voltage test adapter HVA 280 to the power electronics connection for the electric air-conditioning compressor. Leave the second connection open.
Measurement 5
Perform measurement 5.
Setpoint value > 550 MOhm
Evaluate measured result.
If the measured value is within the tolerance range, continue with measurement 9
If the measured value is outside of the tolerance range, continue with measurement 6
