Excessively high dust concentration during grinding work
- Risk of explosion
- Remove any grinding dust using the relevant vacuum cleaner approved for use on the material.
- Remove dust in the work area regularly.
- Do not use compressed air to blow away dust deposits.
- Always separate the dust from different materials (separate aluminum, steel and carbon fibre-reinforced plastic).
- Clean the extraction system at regular intervals.
- Never weld and grind in the same room at he same time.
- Only use pneumatic grinders if possible.
- Only use stainless-steel wire brushes.
- Use special grinding and cutting discs for aluminum.
- Use P 80 to P 200-grain grinding discs.
- Observe corrosion protection measures.
