Installing Front FLOORPAN

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

1. Apply adhesive to the marked joint area -A-  of the inner body at the top.

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface -A-  . > Application depth 0.5 mm

   Applying adhesive on inner body at the top

2. Apply adhesive to the marked joint area -  A- of the outer body at the bottom.

   Apply adhesive evenly on the entire bonding surface -A-  of the body. > Application depth 0.5 mm

   Applying adhesive to outer body at the bottom

3. Apply adhesive to the marked joint areas of the floorpan.

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm

   1. 3.1  Also apply an adhesive bead of sealant all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm 
4. Join inner floorpan > Inner floorpan on the body  to the body.

   Inner floorpan on the body

   1. 4.1 -A-  : Set blind rivets. > BLIND RIVETS 999.190.229.01 
   2. 4.2 -B-  : Plug-weld.
5. Join outer floorpan > Outer floorpan on the body  to the body.
