Installing Rear Cross Member

Information 

  1. Position rear cross member and check that it fits perfectly.
  2. Remove rear cross member.
  3. Apply adhesive to joint areas on the body > Bonding area on joint area of the body.  > Application depth 0.5 mm 

    Use body structural adhesive.

  4. Apply adhesive on the rear cross member > Bonding area on cross member  . > Application depth 0.5 mm

    Bonding area on cross member

    1. 4.1  Also apply a bead of adhesive all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm 
  5. Rivet in rear cross member.

    Blind rivets:  > BLIND RIVET 999.190.227.01 

    Flow-form rivets:  > FLOW-FORM RIVET 9A7.008.607.00
