Installing Front Roof Cross Member

Information 

• Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. 

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

1. Fit front roof cross member and check that it fits perfectly.
2. Apply adhesive in the marked areas > Bonding areas on connection areas of the body  on the body.

   > Application depth 0.5 mm

3. Apply adhesive in the marked areas > Bonding areas  on the front roof cross member.

   > Application depth 0.5 mm

   1. 3.1  Also apply a bead of adhesive all around the marked areas. > Bonding areas 

      > Application depth 3 mm 

4. Rivet in front roof cross member in area -A-  .

   > FLOW-FORM RIVET 9A7.008.607.00

5. Screw in screws -1-  and tighten to > Tightening t  orque 8 (6 ftlb.) Nm  .
