Removing Inner Roof Pillar

Information 

The inner roof pillar bulkhead part is irreparably damaged during removal and must be replaced.

1. Disconnect connection points.

   Connection points

   1. 1.1  Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - body dent removal system, aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - compact booster  .

      >5X00IN23 REPLACING PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

   2. 1.2  Unscrew self-tapping screws -1-  using > VAS 852 007A - FD bolt sockets  .
2. Drill out spotwelds > Spotwelds 1.

3. Drill out spotwelds > Spotwelds 2.

5. Heat bonding areas > Bonding areas 1  using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower  .
