Installing Inner Roof Pillar

Information 

• Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. 

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

1. Position the inner roof pillar and check that it fits perfectly.
2. Remove inner roof pillar.
3. Apply adhesive on marked joint areas > Bonding and rivet areas  of the body. > Application depth 0.5 mm

4. Apply adhesive on marked areas of the inner roof pillar > Bonding areas 1  . > Application depth 0.5 mm

5. Apply adhesive on marked areas of the inner roof pillar > Bonding areas 2.  > Application depth 0.5 mm

6. Also apply a bead of adhesive all around the bulkhead part > Application depth 3 mm

7. Install inner roof pillar.
8. Rivet in the inner roof pillar in the marked areas -A and B-  .

   Area -A-  > BLIND RIVET 999.190.229.01 

   Area -B-  > FLOW-FORM RIVET 9A7.008.606.00

9. Screw in self-tapping screws -1-  using > VAS 852 007A - FD bolt sockets  .
