Installing Inner Rear Wheel Housing

Information 

• Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. 

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

1. Clip in new bulkhead part -1-  on inner rear wheel housing.

2. Install inner rear wheel housing and check that it fits perfectly.
3. Apply adhesive on joint areas > Bonding areas  of the body. > Application depth 0.5 mm 

   Use body structural adhesive.

4. Apply adhesive on inner rear wheel housing > Bonding areas  . > Application depth 0.5 mm

   1. 4.1  Also apply a bead of adhesive all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm 
5. Rivet in inner rear wheel housing in area -A-  . > FLOW-FORM RIVET 9A7.008.607.00

8. Secure inner rear wheel housing in area -A-  using a threaded needle.

   It will be secured together with the outer rear wheel housing later using > BLIND RIVET 999.190.227.01  .
