Installing Rear Boot Floor Plate (Section)

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

1. Install rear boot floor plate (section) > Rear boot floor plate (section)  between the centre longitudinal members and boot floor plate and check that it fits perfectly.

2. Apply adhesive on the joint area > Bonding area  of the body.

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface > Bonding area  . > Application depth 0.5 mm

3. Apply adhesive on rear boot floor plate (section) > Rear boot floor plate (section). 

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface > Rear boot floor plate (section).  > Application depth 0.5 mm

   1. 3.1  Also apply an adhesive bead of sealant all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm 
4. Rivet in rear boot floor plate (section) > Blind rivets  . > BLIND RIVETS 999.190.227.01

5. Screw in self-tapping screws -1-  .
