Preparing Centre Side Member For Installation

Fit centre side member to the body.
1. 1.1 To complete the fit, install the doors and wings at the front and set the gap dimensions between the door and the front wing according to the respective adjustment values.

2. 1.2 Secure centre side member to the body.

Cut through centre side member

2.1 Make cuts -A;B- measuring -X- and -Y- through the side member and body in the overlap areas.

2.2 > Length, dimension X410 mm > Length, dimension Y 140 mm

When cutting the new part to size, a cut is also made through the side member reinforcement -arrow- .

Remove centre side member.
Prepare connection areas for welding.
Prepare the centre side member in the marked areas for bonding.
