Preparing Outer Side Member (Front Section) For Installation

  1. Fit in outer side member (front section) and secure it to the body. Check gap dimensions.

    5X00IN41 GAP DIMENSIONS - SECTION ON "PREPARING"

    1. 1.1  Prepare marked connection areas.
    2. 1.2  Drill holes for rivets in area -A-  .

      > Diameter 6.6 mm

      Preparing outer side member (front section)

      Red Plug-welding/apply a full weld using inert gas without bonding
      Yellow Bonding + riveting
      Blue Bonding
      Green Resistance spot-welding + bonding
