Preparing Connection Areas Of Body For Installing (Front) Roll-Over Bar Reinforcement

Do not tighten screws or nuts. It must still be possible to adjust the components.

Centre and secure the (front) roll-over bar reinforcement -5- at the existing bore -6- in the side skirt

Install side clips -7- together with the (front) roll-over bar reinforcement and screw in screw -17-.

Install upper door strut -8- and lower door strut -9- and screw in screws -10-.

Align base -11- with the (front) roll-over bar reinforcement -5- and check that it is centred at the bore in the side skirt.

Aligning base
Mark drilling positions for the body in areas -A- and -B- at existing bores on the (front) roll-over bar reinforcement.

Marking drilling positions
Remove side clips.
Remove (front) roll-over bar reinforcement.
Drill and de-burr holes at the previously applied markings in areas -A- and -B- > Diameter 6.8 mm > Diameter 11 mm

Drilling holes
Install side clips -7- together with the (front) roll-over bar reinforcement and screw in screw -17-.
