Subsequent work for body repairs

  1. Prime the repair area and adjacent surfaces if necessary with 2K primer.
  2. Restore standard seal using body sealant.

    5X00IN42 SEAM SEALS - SECTION ON "INFORMATION"

    Also seal the repair area carefully.

  3. Paint repair area and adjacent surfaces, if necessary.
  4. Restore standard underbody protection using underbody sealant.

    5X00IN43 UNDERBODY PROTECTION - SECTION ON "INFORMATION"

  5. Install removed accessories in the repair area.
