Preparing Connection Areas Of Body For Installing (Rear) Roll-Over Bar Reinforcement

Information 

Do not tighten screws or nuts. It must still be possible to adjust the components.

Shown on driver's side; the steps are identical for the passenger's side.

1. Remove threaded bolt -4-  from the body.

2. Grind down connection point.
3. Measure dimension -X-  and dimension -Y-  and mark installation position of the (rear) roll-over bar reinforcement on the body. > Length 131 mm  > Length 112 mm

4. Install Z-strut of the roll-over bar.

5. Secure (rear) roll-over bar reinforcement -1-  at the cross strut -2-  and screw on nuts -3-  .

6. Install cross strut with (rear) roll-over bar reinforcements and screw in screws -1-  .

7. Place (rear) roll-over bar reinforcement -1-  at dimensions -A-  and -b-  .
8. Mark drilling positions for the body in areas -A-  at existing bores on the (rear) roll-over bar reinforcement -1-  .

9. Remove cross strut with (rear) roll-over bar reinforcements.
10. Drill and de-burr holes at the previously applied markings in areas -A- > Diameter 6.8 mm

11. Prepare connection area on the body for bonding in the marked areas.
