Installing Cylinder Head Cover - Cylinder Bank 4-6

NOTE: Dirt and contamination

Risk of damage to units or components
→ Protect components from dirt and contamination.

→ Clean or replace dirty components.

Install cylinder head cover.
Clean sealing surfaces.

Fit cylinder head cover.

Screw in cylinder head cover screws in the sequence -1 to 19- and tighten.

> Tightening torque 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)

Re-tighten cylinder head cover screws -1 to 4- .

> Tightening torque 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)

Cylinder head cover screws
Install engine mount bracket -1- .
Fit engine mount bracket -1- .

Screw in new screws -2 and 3- .

Tighten bottom screws -3- .

> Initial tightening 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)

> Final tightening + 50°

Tighten upper screw at front.

> Initial tightening 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)

> Final tightening + 120°

Tighten upper screw -2- at the rear.

> Initial tightening 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)

> Final tightening + 120°

Bracket for engine mounting
Secure turbocharger lines.
Position turbocharger lines.

Screw in and tighten screws -8 and 9- .

> Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Fit turbocharger oil line.

Screw in and tighten screws for turbocharger oil line -6 and 7- .

> Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Clip lines -2 to 4- into retaining clip -5- .

Push on and lock quick connector -1- .
