Removing Hydraulic Valve For Valve Lift Adjustment

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example.

The removal and installation procedure on the other side is practically identical.

Installation position on cylinder head:  The valve is installed on the flywheel side in the cylinder head.

Valve for valve lift adjustment

1  Valve for valve lift adjustment
2  Cable plugs
3  M5 screws
  1. Cylinder bank 4-6: 

    Unclip coolant line -1-  at holder -2-  .

    Coolant line on turbocharger

  2. Remove valve -1-  .

    Pull off cable plug -2-  .

    Unscrew M5 screws -3-  and pull off valve.

    Replace O-ring.
