Preliminary Work

- Place protective covers on the vehicle.
- Lift the vehicle.
- Remove rear underbody panelling.
- Drain engine oil.
- Remove air cleaner housing.
- Lower the engine with a jack.
- Remove intake-air distributor for cylinder bank 4-6.
- Disconnect the air-conditioning compressor and set it aside (do not open lines).

- Remove oil cooler.

- Remove oil separator.
