Repairing impact absorber thread

• Remove wire thread insets (Helicoil) that are installed as standard before drilling out.

The cut-out diagrams of the thread repairs are examples and are designed to show the installation dimensions of the threaded insert. They do not always show the exact component on which the threaded insert is installed.

1. Threaded bush, M8: 

   Repair thread -1- 

   > 5X00IN34 THREAD REPAIRS FOR THREADED BUSHES WITHOUT COLLAR

   Use repair kit > 9843/3 - Thread repair set  .

2. Threaded bush, M6: 

   Repair thread -2-  .

   > 5X00IN33 THREAD REPAIRS FOR THREADED BUSHES WITH COLLAR

   Use repair kit > VAS 6914 - Thread repair set, M6 x 1  .
