  1. Only for cylinder bank 1-2  : Install heat shield for catalytic converter.

    > 261219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEAT SHIELD (ON CATALYTIC CONVERTER) .

  2. Only for cylinder bank 1-2:  Install catalytic converter with cross tube.

    > 267319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CATALYTIC CONVERTER .

    1. 2.1 Secure cross tube holder to cylinder bank 3-4 with collar nuts.
    2. 2.2 Secure catalytic converter holder to the cylinder head with screws.
  3. Remove engine from the > VAS 6095A - Engine and Gearbox Support  and fit it on > VAS 6832 - Master Gear unit elevating platform  .

    > 1001IN TOOLS FOR REMOVING/INSTALLING UNITS AND WORKING ON ASSEMBLY SUPPORT .

  4. Mount transmission.

    > 343527 REMOVING AND MOUNTING TRANSMISSION .

    > WM, 373427 - REMOVING AND MOUNTING DOUBLE CLUTCH TRANSMISSION

  5. Install the engine.

    > 100119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE .

  6. Fill in engine oil.

    > 170117 DRAINING AND FILLING ENGINE OIL .

  7. Checking engine-oil level.

    > 170101 CHECKING ENGINE-OIL LEVEL .
