Removing Ignition Coils

- Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-

Oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter
- Remove ignition coils -1-
.
- 2.1 Disconnect electric plug connection -2- from cable guide -3- .
- 2.2 Open cable guides -3 and 4- .
- 2.3 Release and disconnect electric plug connections -5- .
- 2.4 Unscrew nuts on ground lines for ignition coil -6- and remove ground lines.
- 2.5 Unscrew screws on ignition coil -7- .
- 2.6 > T10530 - Puller must be inserted into the bore on the first ignition coil
- 2.7 Turn knurled nut on > T10530 - puller clockwise until > T10530 - puller is attached securely.
- 2.8 Carefully pull the first ignition coil -1- straight up and off.
- 2.9 > T10530 - Puller can now be removed. Then, do the same for the next ignition coil -1- and continue until you have removed all ignition coils -1- .
