Subsequent Work

  1. Fit rear wheel.

    > 440519 Removing and installing wheel - section on  "INSTALLING ".

    GT4 RS/RS Spyder: 

    > 440519 Removing and installing wheel with central bolt - section on "INSTALLING ".

    For vehicles with PCCB brake discs, use assembly aids (two assembly pins).

  2. Tighten the axle nut (securing drive shaft to wheel bearing housing). Also apply the brake (2nd mechanic required) while the vehicle is stationary on the ground.

    > Tightening torque 460 N.m (340 ft lb.) 

  3. Install rear covers.

    > the appropriate Remove and install rear cover service information - section on "Installing".

  4. Check wheel alignment values and make adjustments if necessary.

    > WM, 449503 SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT, COMPLETE - section on "Performing suspension alignment and adjusting vehicle".

    > the appropriate Adjustment values for vehicle alignment service information.
