Preliminary Work

  1. Remove rear wheels.

    > 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL

  2. Remove cover for rear underbody.

    > WM, 519419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR UNDERBODY

  3. Remove struts.

    > 421320 REMOVING AND INSTALLING STRUTS

  4. Remove oil pan.

    > WM, 175019 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING OIL PAN (LOWER PART) 

  5. Remove catalytic converter.

    > 267319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CATALYTIC CONVERTER

  6. Remove heat shield on catalytic converter.

    > 261219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEAT SHIELD (ON CATALYTIC CONVERTER)

  7. Remove exhaust manifold.

    > 261019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING EXHAUST MANIFOLD

  8. Oil return line on the cylinder head cover and upper part of oil pan must now be loosened.

    > 217819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OIL RETURN LINE FOR TURBOCHARGER

  9. Drain coolant.

    > 193817 DRAINING AND FILLING COOLANT
