Pay particular attention to the following on V6 Hybrid EU/Rest of World vehicles: 

  1. Connect a battery charger.

    > 2X00IN BATTERY TRICKLE CHARGING

  2. During the Tester routine and warm-up phase, check the engine oil temperature -1-  and coolant temperature -2-  on the instrument cluster.

    The Tester does not monitor the temperatures automatically! 

    If the temperatures are too high, cancel the process manually!

  3. PIWIS Tester  must be connected in the vehicle.
  4. Switch on ignition and Tester.
  5. Start the diagnostic application and select DME control unit  in the control unit search screen.
  6. Switch to the Maintenance/repairs  menu and select the function Bleed high-temperature cooling system  .
  7. Observe instructions in the Tester menu: Preconditions must be met! 
  8. Perform the bleeding process in accordance with the specifications and steps displayed on the Tester.
