Changing Oil For Transfer Box

  1. Slide oil collecting container under the vehicle.
    WARNING: Hot fluid 
    • Danger of scalding 

      → Let the fluid cool down.

      → Wear personal protective gear.

  2. Unscrew oil drain plug -2-  and drain the oil.

    Oil inspection plug/oil filler screw

  3. Screw in new  oil drain plug -2-  . > Tightening torque 14 Nm (10.3 ftlb.)  -- Dang --
  4. Unscrew oil inspection pug -1-  .

    Information 

    Vehicle must he horizontal in order to fill the transfer box.

    Information 

    Use only oil approved by Porsche.

  5. Fill oil up to the lower edge of the inspection opening -1- using > VAS 6563 - manual metering pump.
  6. Screw in new  oil inspection plug -1-  . > Tightening torque 14 Nm (10.3 ftlb.)  -- Dang --
