Place oil collecting container underneath the vehicle.
WARNING:
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
  → Let the fluid cool down.
  
  → Wear personal protective gear.
Unscrew oil drain plug -B- and drain the oil.

Oil inspection and drain plug
Screw in oil drain plug -B- with a new sealing ring. > Tightening torque 35 (26 ftlb.) Nm -- Dang --
Unscrew oil inspection plug using > VAS 6928 - socket set, 39-piece.

Tool for oil inspection plug

Use > VAS 6563 - transmission fluid filler pump set to fill oil into inspection plug opening -A-.

5.1 The oil fill quantity is specified in the table Oil adjustment specifications for front-axle final drive and rear axle differential .

5.2 The oil level in the final drive can be measured using an angled piece of wire, for example.

Oil inspection and drain plug

Screw in oil inspection plugs and a new sealing ring -A- using > VAS 6928 - socket set, 39-piece > VAS 6947 -ring spanner insert, a/f 13 > VAS 6948 - adapter > VAS 6951 - universal joint. > Tightening torque 35 (26 ftlb.) Nm -- Dang --
