Checking Oil For All-Wheel Final Drive

Information 

• Vehicle must be horizontal to check oil level in all-wheel final drive. 

1. Unscrew oil inspection plug -A- using > VAS 6928 - socket set, 39-piece.

2. The oil level is correct if the oil reaches the lower edge of the inspection window.
3. If this is not the case, top up the oil.

   > 399035 Checking and topping up oil for all-wheel final drive - section on "TOPPING UP "

4. Screw in oil inspection plug -A-  with a new sealing ring. Use > VAS 6928 - socket set, 39-piece and > VAS 6947 - ring spanner insert, a/f 13 > VAS 6948 - adapter > VAS 6951 - universal joint for this. > Tightening torque 35 (26 ftlb.) Nm  -- Dang --
