Installing Sealing Ring For CARDAN Flange

1. 1.1  Half-fill the space between the sealing and dust lips -arrow-  on the new sealing ring with sealing grease.

2. 1.2  Mask the splines on the operator shaft with adhesive tape to prevent damage to the new sealing ring.
3. 1.3  Slide the sealing ring as far as it will go onto the final drive.
4. 1.4  Tap the sealing ring in as far as it will go using > T10432 - assembly tool. Do not bend the sealing ring. > Installing sealing ring

5. 1.5  Remove adhesive tape.

1. 2.1  Tap in new dust boot using thrust piece T10432/1.  > Fitting dust boot

4. 1.4  Tap the sealing ring in as far as it will go using > T10431 - assembly tool. Do not bend the sealing ring. > Fitting dust boot 
5. 1.5  Remove adhesive tape.
