Removing Control Unit For Rear-Differential Lock

Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work.
Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation.
Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts.

Installation position of control unit for rear-differential lock

NOTE: NOTIFICATION
Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

Pull carpet to the left and move it aside.
Release electric plug connection -1- (-a- ) and disconnect it -A- .

Disconnecting connector on control unit for rear-differential lock
Unscrew fastening screw -2- .
Pull control unit for rear-differential lock -3- and holder out of the guides -4- and remove them.

Unclip control unit for rear-differential lock -3- from the holder and pull it out.
