Information On Pilot Line Fault Finding
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Information
- The pilot line fault is identified by measuring the resistance.
- You need to use > V.A.G 1526E - Handheld multimeter , > VAS 6558/9-7 - High-voltage test adapter HVR 40 and > 9684 - measurement tool set to measure the resistance .
- Make sure not to damage the pins on the connectors when taking measurements.
- Refer to the wiring diagram for the pin assignment of the connectors.
- The measured values must be documented in the "Pilot line fault finding test log".
- The test log is stored under 2X00IN in the Service Information.
- If a part was replaced or if a connector contact was repaired, the measurement must then be repeated.
