Preliminary Work
- Disconnect the battery.

- Remove (side) luggage compartment trim panel (luggage compartment cover).

- Remove (centre) luggage compartment trim panel (luggage compartment cover).

- Open power distributor (main fuse box) and disconnect cable for fuse elements and B+ line.

- Loosen fuse box in the luggage compartment.

- Remove tail light.
- Remove (lower part of) C-pillar trim panel.

- Remove PASM control unit.
- Remove trailer hitch control unit.
> 669619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRAILER HITCH CONTROL UNIT
Information
There is no need to remove the windscreen.
- Lower the headliner and set it down on the front seats.
- Unscrew screws -2-
and unclip covers -3-
.

- Remove rear wheel housing liner.
