Pressing out punch rivets

Punch and bottom die pairs

Punch rivet	Pressing punch rivet joints out of two-layered panel joints with restricted access	D3 + D5
	Pressing punch rivet joints out of three-layered panel joints with restricted access	D4 + D5
	Pressing punch rivet joints out of two-layered panel joints	S4 + D5
	Pressing punch rivet joints out of three-layered panel joints	S5 + D5

The correct punch and bottom die pair for the punch rivet joint is specified in the table above.
Information

The pressed-out punch rivet remains in the panel to be replaced and is removed together with the panel.
Press out punch rivet using a hydraulic riveting tool Compact booster WE 1670 .
