Removing fresh air/recirculated air/ram air housing

  1. Heating/fresh-air unit
  2. Fresh air/recirculated air/ram air housing
  3. Heating/fresh-air blower motor → 853019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEATING/FRESH-AIR BLOWER MOTOR 
  4. Particle filter
  1. Remove fastening screw -A-  .
  2. Loosen air guide for the right dashboard vent from the retaining frame.
  3. Remove air guide duct -B-  for the right dashboard vent.

  4. Disconnect connector -A-  from the fan control.
  5. Remove holder -B-  .

  6. Disconnect wiring -A-  .
  7. Loosen locking mechanism -C-  .
  8. Pull fresh air/recirculated air/ram air housing at the right down.
  9. Disconnect connector for servo motors -E and F-  .

  10. Disengage upper tab -E-  of the heating/fresh-air unit from the mounting -D-  for the fresh air/recirculated air/ram air housing.
  11. Loosen lower mounting points -A and B-  .

  12. Remove fresh air/recirculated air/ram air housing.
  13. If the fresh air/recirculated air/ram air housing is replaced, the following work must still be carried out:
    1. 13.1. Convert heating/fresh-air blower motor → 853019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEATING/FRESH-AIR BLOWER MOTOR .
    2. 13.2. Convert fan control → 877819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FAN CONTROL .
