Preliminary work

Compressor/wheel housing section: 

  1. Drain refrigerant → 870317 DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT .
  2. Remove wheel housing liner at the left → 505619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

    The following work must also be carried out for the wheel housing/condenser section: 

  3. Remove front apron → 631519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT APRON .
  4. Remove control unit for distance measuring sensor, if installed → 278519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL UNIT FOR DISTANCE MEASURING SENSOR .
  5. Remove front air guide → 192419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR GUIDE .
  6. Remove cooling air flaps → 193519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COOLING AIR FLAPS .
