Compressor run-in after installing a new air-conditioning compressor

PIWIS Tester 3 9900 must be connected to the vehicle before starting it. Switch on ignition.
Select the required vehicle type.
Select the Air conditioning control unit in the overview .
Select the Drive links/checks menu.
Select the group General and press [F12].
Information
- The Compressor run-in function can only be carried out when the engine is running .
- The prerequisites for compressor run-in can be found in PIWIS Tester 3 9900 directly under the Teach air-conditioning compressor function in the air conditioning control unit .
- Specifications in PIWIS Tester 3 9900 have priority and take precedence over the specifications in the description .
Select the Compressor run-in function, press [F12] and then press [F8] to start.
If the Compressor run-in function cannot be carried out, Reset compressor run-in must be performed first.
1. 7.1. Select the Drive links/checks menu.
2. 7.2. Select the General menu.
3. 7.3. Select the Reset compressor run-in function by pressing [F12] and then press [F8] to start the reset process.
Then perform Compressor run-in again.
Read out fault memory and erase it if necessary.
