Subsequent work for rear three-point belt at the center

  1. Install left padding for rear backrest. → 745219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PADDING FOR REAR BACKREST
  2. Install rear seat. → 724819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SEAT
  3. Connect the battery. → WM 2X00IN WORK INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY
  4. Carry out a function test:
    • The belt strap must be fully rolled up when the function test is started.
    • Pull out belt strap completely as far as it will go.
    • Roll up the belt strap again slowly. An audible clattering noise can be heard when you do this.
    • If the rolling-up process is interrupted, the belt strap cannot be pulled out again (permanent belt blockage).
    • The permanent belt blockage function must switch off at least 100 mm before the belt strap is rolled up fully, thereby ensuring that the belt strap can be pulled out again.
