Preliminary Work

NOTE:

The required preliminary work and subsequent work can vary depending on equipment. The instructions provided in the document are for vehicles with the maximum possible equipment.

  1. Remove side cover for backrest and disengage rear cover for backrest at the underside of the seat. → 722619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR BACKREST - SECTION ON "REMOVING" 
  2. Remove side trim panel for front seat, without storage tray. → WM 721619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM PANEL FOR SEAT 
  3. Disconnect pressure line (red) under the seat. → 723819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL VALVE FOR AIR CUSHION - SECTION ON "REMOVING" 
  4. Disconnect wire harness for side airbag at the underside of the seat. → WM 696319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SIDE AIRBAG (EXCEPT MACAN SPORT EDITION)
  5. On vehicles with heated seats:  Unplug electric plug connection for seat heating for backrest and disconnect wire harness. → 741719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PADDING FOR FRONT BACKREST
