Installing Right Engine Mount

Tightening torques and assembly instructions for other assemblies (e.g. chassis, electrics, transmission or body) or for peripheral engine equipment can be found in the corresponding documents.

Guide engine mount into the mounting provided for it.
Guide the engine mount guide pin into the groove provided for it so that it can no longer pop out.

Guide pin
Press against the engine mount from below -arrow- and tighten the fastening nuts on the engine mount (use a socket ring wrench a/f 18).

Securing engine mount
Position heat shield. Fit and tighten three fastening screws -arrows- for the heat shield.

Turn the wing screw on the suspending device clockwise and lift the engine into its original position.

Install primary catalytic converter on right side.
