Removing Engine From Engine Carrier (Removing Engine)

Also support engine on the assembly table at the front.
For all-wheel drive vehicles: Loosen front drive shafts on the transmission side

Disconnect engine noun: on both sides from underneath

Disconnect front PDCC expansion hose.

Disconnecting expansion hose

Open the clamp -2- .

Disconnect expansion hose -1- .
Disconnect servo line at the steering gear

Loosen design cover over cylinder bank 1 to expose the retaining eyebolts

Only for 3.6 l & 4.8 l engines.
Lift engine off engine carrier.
Carefully lift the engine initially using a workshop crane.

Make sure that the engine can be lifted up further without squashing or tilting components.

Secure loose components and auxiliary units.

Raise the engine.
Move elevating platform out from under the engine.
