Replacing Plug-In Couplings: Notes

  1. Remove hydraulic unit. → Removing Hydraulic Unit For Rear Lid 

    Information 

    • When replacing the plug-in coupling, proceed with utmost care to ensure dirt does not get into the system. 
    • Before unscrewing the plug-in coupling, place a cloth underneath the hydraulic unit to catch emerging hydraulic oil. 
  2. Remove plug-in coupling at the hydraulic unit.

    1. 2.1. Counter plug-in coupling connection -1-  with a suitable wrench and unscrew plug-in coupling -1-  in -direction of arrow A-  .
    2. 2.2. Counter plug-in coupling connection -3-  with a suitable wrench and unscrew plug-in coupling -4-  in -direction of arrow B-  .
  3. Remove plug-in coupling at the oil pressure line.

    1. 3.1. Counter plug-in coupling connection -1-  with a suitable wrench and unscrew plug-in coupling -2-  in -direction of arrow A-  .
    2. 3.2. Counter plug-in coupling connection -3-  with a suitable wrench and unscrew plug-in coupling -4-  in -direction of arrow B-  .
