Installing Rear Lid

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
  2. Tighten fastening screws for rear lid to Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)  .

    Only for vehicles with Power Lift Tailgate 

  3. Secure actuating cylinder for rear lid at the top of the rear lid. → Installing Actuating Cylinder For Rear Lid 

    Only for vehicles without Power Lift Tailgate 

  4. Secure gas-filled shock absorber for rear lid at the top of the rear lid. → 559319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR PNEUMATIC SPRING
