Dispose of fluid in accordance with legal requirements .

Remove engine.
Remove engine from transmission. → 100127 REMOVING ENGINE FROM TRANSMISSION AND MOUNTING ENGINE ON TRANSMISSION
Secure engine on mounting bracket.
Remove engine retaining eyebolts at the front and rear.
Remove the engine wire harness. → REMOVING WIRE HARNESS FOR ENGINE
Remove bar ignition modules. → 282020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DFI BAR IGNITION MODULES
Remove intake-air distributor. → REMOVING INTAKE-AIR DISTRIBUTOR - section on "Removing"
Remove oil pan. → REMOVING OIL PAN - section on "Removing"
Remove cylinder head. → REMOVING CYLINDER HEAD - section on "Removing"
1. 9.1. Remove and dispose of cylinder head gasket.
2. 9.2. Pull oil retaining valve -arrow- out using an M8 screw if necessary.
