Removing and installing sealing ring for short flanged shaft: Installation

- Thinly coat sealing lip and outer circumference of sealing ring with Vaseline and insert sealing ring with special tool 3384 up to the stop.

NOTE: The sealing ring must fit in the housing at the same depth all round. - Check the transmission oil in the final drive and top up if necessary (see Changing and checking transmission oil in final drive ).
