Removing transmission

  1. Remove engine-transmission unit. Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE (VEHICLE WITH TIPTRONIC TRANSMISSION) .
  2. Detach coolant hoses on the transmission.

  3. Unscrew the fastening screws between the engine and transmission and separate the transmission from the engine.
