Removing spoiler lip

  1. Heat the spoiler lip -1-  with the hot-air blower v.a.g 1416  in the bonding area -A-  .

  2. Insert a plastic wedge between the rear lid -2-  and spoiler lip -1-  and loosen the bonded joint -arrows-  .
  3. Remove adhesive residue -A-  on the rear lid -1-  using the film eraser Nr.174 Pos.1  and holder Nr.174 Pos.2  .

  4. Clean off adhesive residue with isopropanol.

    Information 

    Only when re-using the spoiler lip.

  5. Remove adhesive residue on the spoiler lip using the film eraser Nr.174 Pos.1  and holder Nr.174 Pos.2  .

  6. Clean off adhesive residue with isopropanol.
