Removing Front Wheel Housing (Section)

- Remove front side member (section). → 507955 REPLACING FRONT SIDE MEMBER (SECTION) - section on "Removing"
- Determining the cut
- 2.1. Mark position of cut on front wheel housing at dimension -X= 140 mm-
from cut on inner side member against the direction of travel so that the outer side member is offset with respect to the front wheel housing.

- Cutting through front wheel housing
- 3.1. Cut through the front wheel housing at the marked separation points -A-
and -B-
using the oscillating body saw. Do not damage internal components when doing this.

- Milling off spotwelds
