Preliminary Work

  1. Remove engine.

    → 100119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE .

  2. Remove rear silencer.

    → 263319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SILENCER .

  3. Remove exhaust manifolds. Unscrew nine M8 x 21 screws on each and remove manifold and seal.

    → 261019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING EXHAUST MANIFOLD WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER .

  4. Remove holder for rear silencer.
    1. 4.1. Unscrew four M8 external Torx screws and remove the holder.
  5. Remove heat shield for ignition coils.

    → 261219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEAT SHIELD .

  6. Remove ignition coils. In each case, unscrew one internal Torx (T30) countersunk screw (M6 x 16) and pull the ignition coils out of the spark-plug recess.

    → 282019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING IGNITION ROD MODULE .
