NOTE: Dirt and contamination

Risk of damage to units or components

→ Protect components from dirt and contamination.

→ Clean or replace dirty components.

Install spark plugs → 287020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SPARK PLUGS .
NOTE:
Residual sealant
- Oil bores blocked
→ Ensure that they are cleaned thoroughly and that any remaining sealant is removed completely.
Install camshaft-housing cover.
→ 159119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CAMSHAFT-HOUSING COVER - GT3 .
Install engine carrier.
Install complete exhaust system.
→ 263319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SILENCER - GT3 .
1. 4.1. Fit exhaust system at the front silencer and engine carrier with the help of a second person.
Loosen engine on the assembly support with an engine lift and remove lifting platform. Get another person to help you do this.
Screw off engine support P201 on the engine/transmission flange and remove support.
Mount transmission.

Install engine.

Fill in engine oil.
→ 170155 CHANGING ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER .
