Installing Wire Harness For Seat (Folding Sports Bucket Seat)

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 9 other vehicles, including the 2013 Porsche 911, 2012 Porsche 911, 2011 Porsche 911, 2010 Porsche 911, and 2009 Porsche 911. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Install wire harness.
1. 1.1. Lift up both pieces of padding -arrows A-
2. 1.2. Push the wire harness through the backrest and the seat shell -arrows B- and route it correctly.
3. 1.3. Position the cover -2- (-arrow C- ) and secure it with the fastening screw -1- . Make sure the line routing is correct!
4. 1.4. Secure the wire harness with two new tie-wraps -3- .

Secure the wire harness on the seat shell with two new tie-wraps -1- .

Connect airbag connector socket.
1. 3.1. Push the two single connectors -3- into the connector socket -1- (-arrow- ) until the single connectors engage securely.
2. 3.2. Fit a new tie-wrap -2- on the connector socket -1- .

Insert the airbag connector socket into the seat shell -arrow A- and turn it 90° to the right -arrow B- .
