Removing Wire Harness For Convertible Top: Notes

- Pull wire harness for convertible top -1- out of the clip -2- , release plug connection at the locking lugs -arrows A- and disconnect it -arrow B- .
- Remove splash guard.
- 2.1. Press out fixing clips -1- close to the splash guard -2- (-arrow- ).
- 2.2. Pull the splash guard -1- up out of the clips -2- in the water drip pan -arrow- .
- Remove wire harness on the convertible top support.
- 3.1. Remove tie-wrap -1- .
- 3.2. Unclip wire harness -2- at the retaining clip -3- (-arrow A- ).
- 3.3. Unscrew fastening screws -4- and remove the microswitch -5- (-arrow B- ).

- Remove wire harness at the C-pillar and corner bow joint.
- 4.1. Remove tie-wrap -1- .
- 4.2. Unclip wire harness -2- at the retaining clips -3- (-arrow- ).
- Remove wire harness at rear window.
- 5.1. Fold the cover -1- in slightly -arrows A- .
- 5.2. Pull off both connectors -2- at the rear window -3- (-arrows B- ).
- 5.3. Remove tie-wrap -4- .
- 5.4. Open the Velcro fastener -5- (-arrow C- ).
