Installing B+ Wire Harness For Engine In Vehicles With Automatic Transmission

- Place wire harness in position.
- Secure the B+ box with the two fastening screws -9- . → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
- Clip wire harness from the B+ box to the starter into the two transmission tabs and secure with the two fastening screws -8- . → Tightening torque: 5 Nm (3.5 ft. lb.)
- Secure B+ line to the B+ box.
- 4.1. Insert B+ line in the B+ box and secure with the fastening nut -Arrow A- . → Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ft. lb.)
- 4.2. Close B+ box on the transmission -Arrow B- .
- Position electric lines on the starter and secure with the fastening nuts -6, 7- . Place cap on the solenoid switch on the starter. → Tightening torque: 6.5 Nm (5.0 ft. lb.) → Tightening torque: 18 Nm (13 ft. lb.)
- Fit clip -5- on the B+ line on the transmission bracket.
- Clip in wire harness on the water return hose -4- .
- Clip wire harness into the cable ducts on the combination holder -3- for the engine.
- Insert connector -2- for terminal 50 on the engine wire harness until it engages securely.
- Attach cable shoe to the generator and secure with the fastening nut -1- . → Tightening torque: 18 Nm (13 ft. lb.)
